Common controls

  • Start IP - where to start scan
  • End IP - where to stop scan, should be end > start, by default is start.254 - end of c-class, up to 254 IP to discover at once
  • DNS - List to choose DNS to be used from, (picliost). DNS list is obtained from network settings. If no DNS presens, resolve name related functions are disabled.

Tabs are as follows:

ICMP

ping echo, discovers interfaces which are replied on ICMP echo request in given range of ip addresses.

Controls are:

  • Input
    • Ping size (bytes) - integer, default: 16
    • Timeout (ms) - integer, default: 200
    • Resolve host names (slower)' - boolean, checkbox, default: off
    • Get MAC address (slower)' - boolean, default: off
    • Get SNMP SysDescr (slower) - boolean, default: off
    • Start - button
    • Stop - button
    • Report - button,export report to XML / CSV as per Global option set
  • Output
    • Stringlist
